Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is your no-show policy?

Thank you for trusting  Norman Behavioral Health with your mental health needs. While we understand that life can be unpredictable at times, we kindly ask that should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment; you do so by providing 24-hour notice to the office. By providing us with advanced notice, we are able to schedule other clients who may be waiting for an appointment. In keeping with our goal of providing the best patient care to all of our clients, we ask that you please review our cancellation/no-show policy below:

    ·   Effective January 1, 2025; any established client who does not show up for an appointment or cancels an appointment with less than 24-hour notice will be considered a no-show and will be charged $50 billed to the client, not the insurance.

  • What is a deductible?

The deductible is the amount the patient must pay out-of-pocket before their insurance starts to cover the majority of their costs. If you are unsure what your deductible might be, the best option is to contact your insurance provider.

  • What is the cost?

We strive to inform patients about their insurance benefits, expected costs, and potential out-of-pocket expenses upfront. This will reduce confusion and help us understand the financial responsibilities.

You are financially responsible for the cost of the mental health services provided to you or your dependent(s) and for any portion of the fees not reimbursed or covered by your health insurance, including late cancellations and missed appointments.

  • Do you offer telehealth services?

Yes! Our policy is to strive for the initial intake session to be conducted in person; however, if you require telehealth visits after the first session, we can accommodate those needs accordingly.

  • Can my medication be managed here?

Yes, we can manage most medications for mental health-related issues.

  • How can I manage my account appointments or pay a bill?

You can view any upcoming appointments and bill by accessing our client portal located here.
