Dr. Alan Ivy has worked at Norman Behavioral Health Group since 2006. He graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO, with a Bachelor of Biblical Literature with a Psychology major, from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX, with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, and completed his doctoral training at the University of Memphis with a PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2006. Dr. Ivy has been licensed as a psychologist in Oklahoma since 2007, as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2008, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor approved supervisor in 2011, currently supervising LPC candidates at NBHG working to complete their licensure requirements. Dr. Ivy works with children, teenagers, and adults within the contexts of individual, couples, or family therapy dealing with a wide range of clinical issues such as depression, anxiety, parenting struggles, marital conflict, ADHD, autism, academic struggles, spiritual difficulties, or other behavioral concerns. He also works with individuals with developmental disabilities and supervises psychological technicians who work within the DDSD population in various parts of Oklahoma.
