  • Dr. Taylor English, Ph.D

    Dr. Taylor English joined Norman Behavioral Health Group in 2022. He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas, a master’s in clinical psychology from Mississippi State University, and completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Nebraska in 2021. Dr. English has completed two year-long experiences working at the Veterans’ Affairs Hospitals in Tampa, FL, and Oklahoma City, OK, working with veterans experiencing trauma and substance use disorders. Dr. English enjoys working with adults and adolescents dealing with a wide variety of clinical issues, including depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, substance use, parenting, academic struggles, emotion regulation, and behavioral concerns. Dr. English is familiar with various treatment modalities and approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Relapse Prevention and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma. In addition to individual therapy, Dr. English conducts psychological assessments with children, adolescents, and adults. These assessments can help clarify issues related to ADHD, learning disorders, intellectual disability, behavioral issues, emotional disturbances, and many other concerns clients may have.
